Cramped Library

     A $1 million bond issue is proposed for a 3,000-square-foot expansion. Residents will vote on whether to support the bond issue.

     The Middletown Public Library needs space. Shelves cannot hold any more books, and there's no space for people to sit and browse through the latest Stephen King. Classrooms are crowded and it's hard to hire teachers at the prevailing salaries. Reporters show these issues to the public for action.
