Using Table 19.1, Appendix 12, and the star charts at the beginning and end of the book, have your group identify some bright stars with hot and cool surface temperatures. Have the group members decide if they can see any difference between the colors of the hot and cool stars. Try looking at the stars through binoculars to see if this makes any difference in your ability to detect the colors of bright stars.
