Internet Exercises

  1. When researching current issues, you often can find good information in magazine and newspaper articles. On the Internet, find a magazine or newpaper article that deals with the question, "Are organic foods better nutritionally than other foods?"
  2. Possible Strategy: Visit Websites listed in Table 9.1, "Free Multimedia Materials on the Internet," in Chapter 9. For searching, use these keywords: +airplane +lift +wing.

  3. The Internet is a rich source for bonus material that can be given to the audience as leave-behinds. Find and print a graphic showing how the concept of "lift" makes air flight possible.
  4. Possible Strategy: Go to one of the Internet sites listed under "Collections of Full-Text Articles" in Table 6.1 in Chapter 6.
