Revision Changes- Web Researcher! - This end of chapter feature helps students connect text concepts with the most current research, using four steps:
- An end-of-chapter question brings together concepts that students have read about in the chapter, requiring them to apply various pieces of information to find a solution.
- In order to research the question, students are directed to the Steinberg web site where a series of quiz questions helps them reason, step by step, through the end-of-chapter question.
- Links to other web addresses provide even further background information on the topics students need to understand in order to answer the initial question.
- Based on this quiz and research process, the student can then answer the Web Researcher question posed at the end of the chapter.
- Food for Thought critical thinking questions are interwoven throughout the chapter to encourage students to apply concepts to their own lives in order gain a deeper understanding of the topic.
- Power Web , an innovative new on-line supplement provides access to course-specific current articles; course-specific real-time news; weekly course updates and a variety of interactive exercises and self-assessment tools. All of these tools are selected by an adolescence instructor and are presented in a format for easy homework assignment.
