Using Relative Clauses

Change the following conditional sentences to sentences with relative clauses. Make any other changes that are necessary. Follow the example:

      If states have the death penalty, they are considered backward.
      States that have the death penalty are considered backward.

1		If people commit murder, they should stay in jail for life.
2		If courts relied more on DNA testing, they wouldn't convict innocent people so often.
3		If lawyers use loopholes to set criminals free, they cause people to lose faith in the criminal justice system.
4		If people grow up seeing a lot of violence on television, they often end up violent themselves.
5		If people cannot look at evidence with an open mind, they should not sit on a jury.
