1. The arousal approach might be seen in the workplace by employees who seek either a very high or a very low level of stimulation and activity. Individuals may self-select into jobs that meet this need. Employees should look for "goodness of fit" in employee-job matching. The incentive approach, the desire to obtain valued external goals would encourage employers to find out what they can provide for employees to work toward. In the cognitive approach employees should encourage the development of intrinsic motivation by employees for the job they do.

5. Schachter-Singer Theory: Attending group events allows an individual to identify his or her own emotions by experiencing, observing, and comparing his or her emotions with the emotional experience of others in the group.
