adrenalectomy  Surgical removal of the adrenal glands.
adrenogenital syndrome  Group of symptoms associated with changes in sexual characteristics as a result of increased secretion of adrenal androgens.
exophthalmos  Abnormal protrusion of the eyes.
hirsutism  Excess hair growth, especially in women.
hypercalcemia  Excess blood calcium.
hyperglycemia  Excess blood glucose.
hypocalcemia  Deficient blood calcium.
hypophysectomy  Surgical removal of the pituitary gland.
parathyroidectomy  Surgical removal of the parathyroid glands.
pheochromocytoma  Type of tumor found in the adrenal medulla and usually accompanied by high blood pressure.
polyphagia  Excessive eating.
thymectomy  Surgical removal of the thymus gland.
thyroidectomy  Surgical removal of the thyroid gland.
thyroiditis  Inflammation of the thyroid gland.
