Choropleth Mapping. In this exercise, students use the choropleth techique to map mobile cell phone use in Europe. Skills covered in the exercise include: creating a new shapefile from an existing shapefile, joining a data table to an attribute table, formating legend labels, applying and changing color ramps, data classification, and creating a histogram.
