Go to www.yahoo.com/reference and search for "Cultures and Community." Find one location of your choice and determine what this source says about food and drink, crime, advice, and language. You can use this source to discover details about cultures not covered in the textbook.

Exercise 2: Information on Immigration Patterns in the USA

Go to www.census.gov to find the most current information about the population of your state. See if you can discover what demographic groups are increasing or decreasing and by how much. The census results are useful in speeches for a wide range of statistics.
