Sioux Falls picked up another half-inch of rain Saturday, but is still more than one inch away from a record monthly rainfall. The city has had 8.05 inches for the month—.59 fell Saturday—making it the second wettest July on record, said Bill Behrend, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Sioux Falls. The record for July is 9.11 inches. Today should be partly cloudy with a high near 80. No rain is forecast, but some areas may be foggy, Behrend said. |
