B. Prayer

     One of the most angrily debated subjects in the country is whether prayers should be allowed in public schools. The American Center for Law and Justice states that there is legal ground for states challenging court rulings against school prayer. But the American Civil Liberties Union says federal courts generally have ruled that prayer in public school is unconstitutional. Have efforts been made to include religious activity in local schools?
