Interests Compile a list of the special interests and the demographics of local people that influence coverage and play in local newspapers and broadcast stations. For example, in a region whose economy is based on farming, the media would emphasize crop reports, market prices for produce and animals, weather, government price supports and state and federal legislation on farm issues.
Note any large numbers of religious, ethnic or national groups and give examples of coverage of interest to those groups. |
