     Draw or obtain a map of your city by health district. Chart changes in each district by cause of death for the past year, the year before and other years. Can you find any correlations between income and the mortality rates? Any other correlations? Pay special attention to infant mortality and to deaths from pneumonia and influenza, AIDS, drugs, diabetes, tuberculosis, cirrhosis of the liver, homicide. These usually are associated with socioeconomic factors. Write a long piece or plan a series.
