1.4 The United States' Hibakusha Response

In the weeks following the hijackings and terrorist destruction that occurred in September of 2001, many organizations reached out to help the "explosion affected" in the United States. One of those is the The September 911 Digital Archives. This site is divided into several areas. From the main page, select the Repository and click on the link to examine the archives by collection where you can browse or search for articles and stories from the disaster.

Read several articles in the collection of your choice. Answer the following questions.

1
How do the archives on this site treat the news stories of the days and years since the attack?
2
What are some of the most interesting things you have learned from reading articles in the archives? Identify at least two articles by author and title along with a summary of the information you noticed.
