Project Type: History

Have students research ten historical weather-related events. Students should prepare a brief summary of these events that describes how they relate to geographical features and how technology and weather forecasting have improved everyday lives.

Alternative Activity:

Have students research the causes of global warming, human influence on climate, and causes of the ozone hole. Encourage students to form their own hypotheses about global warming. Allow them to debate and discuss their hypotheses.
