Ceramics time line

Project Type: History
Have students explore the use of ceramics in society. Ask students to construct a time line of this ancient material and how it is being used in new and creative ways with constantly changing technology. Discuss with your students the impact that traditional ceramics such as art, dinnerware, pottery, and brick had on society and compare it to the impact that ceramics are having on our society today.

Alternate Procedure:
Lead a group discussion on the advancement of ceramics. Debate the pros and cons as a class.
