Get the most nutrition for your calories by eating a variety of nutrient-dense foods. Focus on whole grains, fruits, vegetables, low-fat or fat-free dairy foods, and lean protein. Keep active. Achieve or maintain your appropriate weight and stay healthy. Know the limits on fats, especially saturated fat and trans fats and cholesterol.
