Chapter Overview

Concepts and processes in science are unifying themes that connect all scientific studies—from the methods used to study science to the way science is interpreted, recorded, and communicated. Although the study of science is divided into many areas, there are many themes that are common to all.

In this chapter you will learn about the fundamental concepts and processes by studying the following topics:
