This site contains many lessons listed under Math Topics. Each lesson starts with an explanation. After reading the instruction for each lesson, click Start to get a problem. Click Reset to get a new problem.
Algebra.Help

This site has lots of lessons and worksheets. Lessons are listed under Algebra Basics, Basic Word Problems, and Proportion Basics. The lessons are long and detailed. Worksheets have answer spaces for each problem. At the end of each worksheet, click Check Worksheet to find the correct answers.

The Office of Arithmetic & Pre-Algebra on this site contains 14 useful lessons. The Office of Algebra and the Office of Geometry both have useful introductory lessons.

This site is aimed at children, but it has useful mathematical games. Click Numbers to get started. The Shape Surveyor Geometry Game gives a good review of area and perimeter in your choice of easy, medium, hard, or "super brain" levels. Click Start Digging to get the questions. Click Check It! to get answers.

This site has many banners but lots of useful information. The glossary is well done. You can have answers to worksheets e-mailed to you if you supply your address.

This site has banners advertising airfares, but it also has useful lessons on statistics, pre-algebra, probability, percent, circumference and area of circles, and perimeter and area of polygons.
Quia Mathematics

This site offers matching games, flashcards, and lists of terms. In the directory select All Activities and By Title to get a complete list of the 48 topics.
Regents Exam Prep Center

Some of the material on this site is too advanced for GED preparation, but much is useful. The site includes lessons (L), practice (P), and teacher resources (T). Look for familiar topics under Numbers & Numeration, Operations, Modeling/Multiple Representation, and Measurement.
