Several of these items are taken from the Myers, Exploring Social Psychology site at www.mhhe.com/myerse3. You can access these activities by going to the student center. For example, activity 1.2 means Module 1 exercise #2.

  1. "And Justice for All?" ( http://www.msnbc.com/modules/tvnews/dtl_crimestory ) - Accompanying an NBC Dateline program, this site provides an interactive exercise. "Each year, hundreds of letters from prisoners sentenced to spend the rest of their lives behind bars arrive at the law offices of Kathleen Zellner & Associates in Naperville , Illinois . Read some of them and decide whether you would pursue any of these cases. These cases are real. By clicking below, you'll be able to investigate these cases for yourself and decide what you would do."
  2. Video Eyewitness Test ( http://129.186.143.73/faculty/gwells/theeyewitnesstest.html ) - view a video from Gary Wells showing a particular event - then view a lineup of potential "suspects." Can you identify the correct person? Unfortunately, the event video and the lineup video are quite large files, so it will probably take you a while to download it even with high-speed access. See many more eyewitness testimony resources at Gary Wells' home page ( http://129.186.143.73/faculty/gwells/homepage.htm ).
