Julia is a graduating senior in college. She majored in accounting and already has an impressive job offer from one of the big national accounting firms. She was valedictorian of her high school and has stayed in touch with her favorite teachers since graduation. When she returned home on spring vacation, she went to see her math teacher, Ms. Sheehan. Ms. Sheehan was delighted to see her and asked Julia to come back the next day and speak to her AP Calculus class about college. Julia accepted Ms. Sheehan's offer and that night sat down to write a 10-minute informative speech on the topic, "How to succeed in college."
