PBS Kids

We are not advocating television for infants and toddlers, but in recognition that some adults will have the TV on anyway, here is a site that will help you see how to use it appropriately. Infants and toddlers are too young for most of the ideas, activities, and programs on this site, but try Teletubbies and Barney, if you must introduce infants and toddlers to television.

Remember that infants and toddlers are in the sensorimotor stage of cognitive development and they learn best by moving. Don't let them sit for too long in front of a TV!
