Your sports reporter has just returned from interviewing a local high school football player who is being sought by dozens of football powerhouses. During the interview, the reporter asked the young man what the recruiters had offered him as inducement to play for their schools.

In passing, the player said that the recruiter from the local university had told him about the fine academic program at the school. The player had said that he wasn't too sharp in English classes. "Oh, don't worry," he said the recruiter informed him. "You won't have to take English Comp." Everyone at the local university is required to take English Composition in the freshman year, the reporter knows.

You know that if the story is published, the football coach will blacklist the newspaper. He is a no-holds-barred type. What do you do with the story?
