Research tells us that your job satisfaction and performance are affected by the extent to which your personal values are consistent with your employer's organizational values. The purpose of this exercise is to determine what type of organizational culture best suits you. Go to the following site: www.tickle.com In the search box at the top of the page type in "Corporate Culture Test." (Create a free account , this will also allow you to take the tickle tests) The test has 57 questions and takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete. This is a free test. Submit your results If an ad appears, click the link "no thanks, take me to my results." Read the feedback and answer the following questions. If you wish, a more detailed report is available for purchase, but for the purposes of this exercise use the initial feedback.

1			Do you agree with your results? Why or why not?
2			Now that you know what type of culture best suits you, we would like you to assess the extent to which your current employer's culture is consistent with your ideal culture. Does your current job represent a good cultural fit? If no, discuss the inconsistencies. If you are not currently working, think of a past job or job you would like to obtain in the future.
3			What should an individual do if his or her personal values do not "fit" with the organization's culture? Give specific recommendations.
