  1. Is product placement in books any different than other contemporary authors making reference to commercial products as a means of making their works more realistic (e.g., Bret Easton Ellis's American Psycho)?
  2. Is product placement in fiction books any worse than placement in other mediated communication?
  3. Will product placement begin to appear in non-fiction works such as newspaper stories, or is the fiction/non-fiction line the breaking point?
