Sociologists study how social relationships influence people's attitudes and behavior, and how societies are established and change. In another sense, though, the areas that sociologists study can be extremely broad, such as the economy, politics, culture, and education. Before taking this class, perhaps you even believed that some of all of these topics were the sole domain of other disciplines (economics, political science, anthropology, and education).
