Occupational Outlook Handbook
Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH) and Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT) provide a wealth of data and commentary about all occupational categories. Projections on job opportunities are given through the year 2005. Both publications are maintained by the U.S. Department of Labor and made available through the Government Printing Office.
The Occupational Outlook Handbook (www.bls.gov/oco/) is also available online.

Dictionary of Occupational Titles
The following is a listing of DOT reference numbers and occupational titles of particular interest to electronics students. The purpose of the list is to dionstrate the diversity of existing working environments. Although most entries are engineering titles, technicians should be aware that their support is required in almost all positions.
