A. Age

     Obtain latest local arrest figures for the following categories and write a story based on a comparison of data for preceding periods: murder, rape, assault, robbery, burglary, auto theft, drunk driving. Check the ages of those arrested.

B. Arrest Report

     Go to the local police station or a nearby precinct and ask to see some of the arrest reports turned in over the last 12 hours. Select one you consider newsworthy and do a story based on it. Include the suspect's criminal record if it is available and it is legal to use it.
