2.3 Children's Rare Book Resources on Line

The Library of Congress has recently scanned and posted rare books for children of all ages. Original illustrations and text can be found on various aspects of death and dying. You will find early childhood rhymes in Mother Goose and the 1903 copy of The Three Bears. Read the story titled Death and Burial of Poor Cock Robin / From Original Designs by H.L. Stephens. New-York: Hurd & Houghton, 1865. When finished, respond to the following:
