Project Type: Technology
Ask students to supply a copy of a favorite family recipe. Have students rewrite the recipe using SI units: volume, mass, length, and temperature. Some students may want to bake their food for a class presentation. Discuss what makes it difficult for people to switch from one system of measurement to another for baking, building, or car repair.
