Huffman Lake Property Owners Association

In this exercise you will help your uncle to organize and find out some information about the members in the HLPOA database.

The first question is, "how many properties have a SEV greater than $300,000 and are on the lake front?" Use the query by form. How many records were selected? How many properties have an SEV greater than $300,000 and are not lake front? ( Hint: you have to make sure the check box for lake front is not grayed and that it doesn’t have a check mark.) Close the table and do not save changes.

Use the simple query wizard to generate a list of members that have paid dues. Select MemberID FirstName, LastName, and Phone from the members table, Payment and Payment amount from the Payments table, and Description from the PaymentItems table. Use "Paid Members" for the title. After the datasheet view of the query opens, choose a different font, font size and font color, resize the columns to "Best Fit" then preview and print the report.

Close and save the layout changes. Then exit Access
