Instructor Resources

Online Learning Center—is a comprehensive, book-specific website (http://www.mhhe.com/physsci/chemistry/kelter/) offering excellent tools for both the instructor and the student. Instructors can create an interactive course with the integration of this site, and a secured Instructor Center stores your essential course materials to save you prep time before class. This center offers PowerPoint lecture outline, PowerPoint images, a table library, and more. All of the Online Learning Center content has been created for use in PageOut, WebCT, or Blackboard course management systems.

Test Bank—Edited by Conrad Bergo of East Stroudsburg University, the test bank contains over 1500 multiple choices, true/false and matching questions. The questions are comparable to the problems in the text.

Computerized Test Bank—This test bank contains all of the questions in the Test Bank while allowing instructors to edit or create their own test templates. The Test Bank is formatted for easy integration into the following course management systems: PageOut, WebCT, and Blackboard.

Digital Content Manager—is a multimedia collection of visual resources allowing instructors to utilize artwork from the text in multiple formats to create customized classroom presentations, visually-based tests and quizzes, dynamic course website content, or attractive printed support materials. The Digital Content Manager is a cross-platform CD containing an image library, photo library, and a table library.

Transparency Set—100 four-color illustrations from the text are reproduced on acetate for overhead projection.

Instructors’ Solutions Manual—contains the solutions to all end of chapter questions in the text. Answers to all the questions in the lab exercises as well as tips on setting up the labs and getting the best results for the students is also included.

ChemSkill Foundations—is developed by James D. Spain and Harold J. Peters. ChemSkill Builder software challenges your students’ knowledge of introductory chemistry with an array of individualized problems. Organized to accompany any introductory chemistry text, this student-oriented software generates questions for students in a randomized fashion with a constant mix of variables. No two students will receive the same electronic homework problems—ensuring an accurate test of the students’ knowledge. This unique software program records grades on the quizzes. These grades can easily be transferred to an instructor’s record-keeping file.
