Inclusive classrooms are essential for serving the unique needs of students in U.S. schools. Young people come to classrooms with complex developmental learning problems. As a teacher you will often be expected to assess how and when to make accommodations when testing students. Write a short essay and describe some of the adaptations you might need to make for students with exceptionalities ranging from multi-handicapping conditions to attention deficit disorders.

Assume that you have two specific types of students in your classroom with learning exceptionalities that require adaptations. One student has dyslexia and often transposes numbers and letters and another has a learning disability that makes it difficult for her to process information quickly. For each, outline the specific accommodations you might make.
