     Feature writers look for the unusual, the different. They poke and pry into the recesses of everyday life for the sparks that they can fan into a fascinating story. Here's something strange, they tell us, and we pay attention. Strange indeed was the new lover's lane in an Attleboro, Mass., shopping mall's parking garage. Nestled up there on the third floor, snug in each other's arms, unaware of the world outside are our lovers, caught by Bob Thayer of The Providence Journal. This photo, by the way, won first place in the feature picture division of the National Press Photographers' Association.
