David J. Ketchen, Jr. serves as Lowder Eminent Scholar and Professor of Management at Auburn University. He earned his PhD at the Pennsylvania State University. His research interests include entrepreneurship and franchising, methodological issues in organizational research, strategic supply chain management, and the determinants of superior organizational performance. His work has been published in outlets such as the Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, the Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Operations Management, and Journal of Management, among others. He is currently an associate editor for the Academy of Management Journal and he has completed terms as an associate editor for the Journal of Management, Organizational Research Methods, Journal of Operations Management, and Journal of International Business Studies. He is co-founder of HultKetchen International Group LLC, a consultancy. Alan B. Eisner is Professor of Management and Graduate Management Program Chair at the Lubin School of Business, Pace University. He received his PhD in management from the Stern School of Business, New York University. His primary research interests are in strategic management, technology management, organizational learning, and managerial decision making. He has published research articles and cases in journals such as Advances in Strategic Management, International Journal of Electronic Commerce, International Journal of Technology Management, American Business Review, Journal of Behavioral and Applied Management, and Journal of the International Academy for Case Studies.
