Sentence Fragments

Definition: A sentence fragment occurs when a sentence does not contain at least one independent clause (a subject correctly followed by a predicate).

Directions: The following numbered exercises contain sentence fragments. Choose the revision below each exercise that corrects the sentence fragments. (A sentence fragment can be revised in two ways: first, by creating one complete sentence (a grammatically correct subject and predicate); second, by creating two separate sentences.)
