Empowerment is a psychological concept represented by feelings of self-determination, meaning, competence, and impact. The empowerment concept applies to people a variety of situations not just the workplace. The self-assessment you are about to complete is specifically adapted to your position as a student at this college or university.
      Read each statement in this instrument and select the response that best indicates the degree to which you personally agree or disagree with that statement. You need to complete each item honestly to get the best estimate of your level of empowerment.

The work I do at school is very important to me.
I am confident about my ability to perform well as a student.
What I do as a student has a large effect on the school where I am enrolled.
