Mixed Constructions

Definition: A mixed construction is a sentence whose parts do not fit together well. This problem has two principal causes: the subject and the predicate do not belong together, or two clauses do not work together logically.

Directions: Correct the mixed constructions in the following sentences. From the lettered choices following each numbered exercise, identify the revision that correctly edits the sentence.
